Eezi-Awn Series 3 Rooftop Tents
A lot of us are outfitting our trucks for expedition type traveling. On these trips a nice comfortable dry bed makes the difference between a nightmare expedition and a one to write home about. For these trips the rooftop tent with built in mattress is a must.
The Eezi-Awn rooftop tents sets up in minutes. Just park the vehicle, remove the PVC travel cover, expand the ladder and pop up the tent. The mattress is already contained in the tent. The Eezi-Awn tents use the highest quality materials available. The main tent is made from 380g wax impregnated rip-stop cotton canvas— a highly durable material that is waterproof, yet breathable. The floor is a marine-grade plywood with aluminum support rails, making it super strong, yet light weight.
In addition to a door on each end, two windows with shade/rain canopies allow for a variety of ventilation configurations. Other features include four handy gear storage pockets, side-tensioning straps to aid in tent closure, and separate zipable mosquito netting for each of the tent openings.
Each tent comes with a standard aluminum ground ladder.

This is the smallest in the Eezi-Awn roof top tent lineup, yet it is still a spacious, full-featured tent. Closed it has a 48"x48" footprint, but unfolds to a 48" x 96" tent with high density mattress.

When closed it has a 54" x 48" footprint. Open, it provides a 56" x 96" sleeping surface.

This tent has a sleeping surface of 96" x 64", almost the size of a queen bed. The footprint of the tent is 48" x 64" and makes it impractical to mount on most SUV's in the standard front to back fashion.
However, because the tent is only 48" long, it can be installed to open to the side. This configuration, when open, doubles as an excellent awning.

The Eezi-Awn shower skirts mounts to the bottom of the roof top tents, adding a 3 sided shower / dressing room.
All you need is a water dispensing system such as a solar shower tank, heat-exchange or propane water heater, and you can have a private, comfortable shower just like at home.
