The African Outback roof rack is a state of the art all aluminum modular system that can be configured to suit your individual needs.
The roof racks are constructed from
aluminum extrusions that feature a "slide in" nut system that allows for
easy fitment of bolt on accessories. The racks come with a top rail that
is easily removed to allow for the fitment of rooftop tents. The low profile sealed rails combine to cut wind noise to a
minimum.
An
optional sunroof hatch allows access to the rack from inside the vehicle.
Design Features
Four purpose designed extrusions are used to produce the structural component from 6026 T6 aluminum for roof rack.

Pressure Die cast corners are Tig welded to the outer frame: the longitudinal slates and cross struts create strong rack base with minimized wind noise.

The unique bolt-on top rail allows the end user the option of a fully open rack by removing the top rail or fitting a half rail to the front or rear to accommodate the popular roof top tents directly onto the base rack.

The 6 rack legs are fully adjustable in 3 directions: up & down, in & out and sideways. The are manufactured from 3mm mild steel with a stainless steel clamp including gutter protection bead (80 Series model)

The aluminum ladder racks are acid treated, powder coated and clear coated. All steel parts are E coated, powder coated and clear coated.

All roof rack accessories are simply bolted onto the roof carrier with no drilling necessary.
